The National Broadcasting Council Extended Polsat’s License for Another 10 Years
At Wednesday’s meeting, the National Broadcasting Council adopted a resolution to extend Polsat’s terrestrial license for another 10 years, until 2034.
According to KRRiT, it is still to be a universal channel, distributed under the name Polsat through the so-called. second multiplex of digital terrestrial television.
Polsat’s current license is valid until March 2, 2024. Pursuant to the regulations, the sender had to apply for its extension at the latest one year before its expiry.
Polsat has been broadcasting since 1992 (initially only by satellite), and in 1994 it received a terrestrial license.
