Protect US Poland Future

Protect US Poland Future is an organization that seeks to raise awareness about the current Polish government’s effort to nationalize the country’s highest-rated independent news channels associated with the TVN media company. Unlike state-owned channels, TVN broadcasts independent news and critical commentary about the government as well as high-quality entertainment free from government interference.

Any restrictions on TVN are actually a direct attack on Polish democracy. Moreover, Poland’s attempt to change media laws, which would only affects a U.S. company, has a ripple effect on U.S. and foreign investments in Poland. Encroaching actions such as “lex TVN” are detrimental to U.S. businesses of all sizes operating or intending to operate in Poland.

We believe it is vital to protect the freedom of the press and Democracy in Poland, as well as preserve the U.S. and Polish relationship.
