[…] If I already have the opportunity to talk to such important people in such important places, I have to make the most of it, I have to prepare myself for it, said Blanka Zalewska. In the White House, he plans to bring the audience closer to what the war in Ukraine really looks like. As a correspondent, she was often a witness to tragic events that, despite the passage of time, the world should not forget. A particularly important aspect for her is the involvement of women in helping in the East.

– I will tell them, as well as everyone who will listen to it, what the war in Ukraine looks like, but above all, that I am here only a symbolic representation of many women who deserve this award. I will definitely say that today to remember those thousands of valiant, brave Ukrainian girls who fight there, tend to wounded civilians and soldiers.
