“President of the United States Donald Trump is likely to visit Poland in April. I know that President Andrzej Duda’s office is in contact with President Donald Trump’s office”, said former Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, who is attending the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) party congress in Brussels.
In December 2024, Mieszko Pawlak, head of the President Andrzej Duda’s Office of International Policy, informed that President Trump would be invited to the Three Seas Initiative summit, which will be held in Warsaw at the end of April 2025. “Trump took part in such a meeting in 2017, so his presence at the summit in 2025 would be a kind of continuation”, indicated Pawlak.
Mateusz Morawiecki, asked if he expected Trump to support presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki with his potential visit, replied that this was a question for Trump to answer.
