It is also known that  Karol Nawrocki will participate in the UN General Assembly in New York in the second half of September.  The session is scheduled for September 24th.

What will the presidents talk about?

As Karol Rabenda, a minister in Karol Nawrocki’s office, informed RMF FM, the presidents will talk primarily about the security of our region, the support of the Polish army by American forces, but also about the tariffs that Donald Trump imposed on goods from the European Union.

There are also major economic issues: investments by American companies and the opening of markets to Polish entrepreneurs. I think all of this will be discussed at this meeting, ” he said.

According to him, “Polish-American relations will benefit from this meeting and many things will probably be achieved for Poland.”

As RMF FM journalist Jakub Rybski learned unofficially, the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland is also working on visiting the Vatican on the way to Washington.

Politicians from the ruling coalition admit that it is good that Karol Nawrocki is flying to the United States, but what is more important is what he will achieve thanks to this meeting.

It remains to be seen whether it will be just a courtesy visit where we will shake hands and take photos, or whether it will be something more and we will talk about Poland’s security, for example – said Ewa Szymanowska from Poland 2050 on RMF FM.

Nawrocki-Trump meeting

On June 10, while still president-elect, Karol Nawrocki announced that he had had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump. Nawrocki then announced on the X platform that he had invited Trump to Poland and that he had also received an invitation to a meeting at the White House.

In early May, before the first round of the presidential election, Karol Nawrocki met with President Trump at the White House. The meeting was reported by, among others, the U.S. president’s press office.
