” Good morning, hello! My name is Tom Rose, and I stand here today in the heart of Warsaw as a representative of my wonderful President Donald Trump and the American people ,” he said, standing in front of Sigismund’s Column. ” I’m overjoyed to be in Poland and I can’t wait to meet you soon, ” he added.
Rose also commented personally on the embassy’s post.
“It’s absolutely wonderful that we can represent our one-of-a-kind President Donald Trump in one of America’s closest, oldest and deepest allies, partners and friends,” he wrote on X.
President Trump appointed Rose as the new U.S. ambassador to Poland in February. In September, he received the endorsement of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, although no Democratic politicians voted in favor of his nomination.
