The Ministry of Health on Sunday began a process of transferring Ukrainian patients treated in Polish hospitals to medical facilities in other EU countries. “Poland will not be left alone,” said Health Minister Adam Niedzielski.

“Today we have begun a process of transferring patients from Ukraine treated in Poland to hospitals in other EU countries. The first three children patients are on their way to Italy,” the Health Ministry informed on social media.

“Our efforts and support from the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Stella Kyriakides have brought first effects. Poland will not be left alone in its caring for patients from Ukraine. It’s time for European solidarity,” Health Minister Adam Niedzielski said on Twitter.
