In recent days, viewers of TVN and TVN24 news services often see his face on the screens. Wojciech Bojanowski is not afraid of difficult, professional challenges. He also does not hide his emotions from the audience.

Reporter Wojciech Bojanowski has been associated with TVN since 2007. He deals mainly with investigative journalism. His materials can be viewed, among others in “Supervisor” and “Black on the White”. It is he, among others revealed the circumstances of the death of Igor Stachowiak at the Wrocław police station.

In 2014, a journalist reported on the civil war in Donbas. Now he is back in Ukraine, from where he informs viewers about the current situation, incl. in Kiev. During Tuesday’s coverage of the evening “Facts”, the journalist escaped a curse at the sound of rockets flying behind his back .

“Everyone is prepared for the option that Kiev may be besieged ,” Bojanowski said to the camera. – But at the moment we do not have any information that Russian troops, including armored forces, would appear in the south of the city and close the loop that … and!”.

This is not the first time that a TVN journalist has faced people in a state of extreme danger. In 2019, Bojanowski accompanied the crew of the Sea-Watch 3 ship for several weeks, which saved illegal immigrants trying to reach Europe at all costs. The poignant reportage “Let it Tone” won a number of awards, including the Grand Press award.

Receiving this laurel, the journalist shared a personal confession . He recalled the difficult circumstances of his reportage, which coincided with his family drama. He did not hide his tears during the live broadcast.

– My wife was pregnant. I work, and a drama is taking place at my home – my child will be born sick or not born at all . I found out about it through such a communicator. We were ready to set up a hospital at home. To face whatever is happening. After several days it turned out that his heart stopped beating – he confessed.

Bojanowski openly said that he was going through depression after this incident. – I tried to edit this material, but I cried over the keyboard. It didn’t quite work out. Good people in my company helped me a lot, so finally we managed to put it together – he added.
