The President’s Office might be willing to reach an agreement with the Foreign Ministry on ambassadors. Andrzej Duda proposes Radosław Sikorski to swap candidates in the U.S.: Krzysztof Szczerski (Poland’s current ambassador to the UN) will run embassy in Washington, while Bogdan Klich (Poland’s current candidate for ambassador to the U.S., who is proposed by Foreign Affairs Minister Radosław Sikorski) would go to the UN post. Currently, Poland does not have a formally appointed ambassador to the United States. Bogdan Klich, a former senator and defense minister, began his mission in the US as head of a diplomatic post, but serves as chargé d’affaires.
