Poland will buy additional F-35 fighter jets. “These are the best fighter jets in the world,” Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk emphasized on Tok FM radio. He also noted that Poland has spent tens of billions of dollars in the US and will spend “at least twice as much” in the coming years, making Poland a strategic partner of the United States.

Poland has ordered 32 F-35 aircraft . The official ceremony of accepting the first fighters into the Polish Armed Forces took place in June of this year. Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said at the time that another 11 aircraft would be delivered to the Łask base in the coming months, 12 in 2027, and the remaining aircraft in the following years. The final delivery is scheduled for 2029.

Poland will order more F-35 fighters

In July of this year, the Deputy Minister of National Defense announced that Poland had already spent $65 billion in the United States  on equipment purchases and maintenance facilities. In a Thursday broadcast, Cezary Tomczyk declared that in the coming years, Poland will spend “at least twice that amount” in the United States.
