Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed gratitude for NATO’s support and discussed strengthening the eastern flank, including the “East Shield” project. Rutte praised Poland’s substantial defense investments, calling it a key ally in the alliance.

President Andrzej Duda also met with Rutte, advocating for increasing NATO defense spending to 3% of GDP. They discussed extending the fuel pipeline to the eastern flank and enhancing military resilience among NATO members.
