During his visit to Warsaw, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that any attack on Poland or another NATO ally would be met with a “devastating” response. He emphasized that this message should be clear to Vladimir Putin and any potential aggressors. Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed gratitude for NATO’s support and discussed strengthening the eastern flank, including the “East Shield” project. Rutte praised Poland’s substantial defense investments, calling it a key ally in the alliance.
