TVN Appealed Against Maciej Świrski’s Penalty. 70 Thousand PLN for the Placement of Water

TVN SA appealed against the penalty imposed by the chairman of the National Broadcasting Council, who stated that the location of Żywiec Zdrój Mocny Gaz water was excessively exposed in the program “Good Morning Holidays.”

It’s about the issue of “Good Morning Holidays” from August 14, 2022. According to the National Broadcasting Council, the fine “was imposed in connection with the broadcaster’s violation of Article 17a(5)(1) of the Broadcasting Act by excessively displaying the product being placed” during a conversation held during an outdoor event in the “Project Beach” series. The fine for the sender was 70,000. zloty.

TVN did not comment on the decision of the chairman of the National Broadcasting Council, nor did he answer our question about appealing the penalty to the court, which the broadcaster is entitled to.

“The broadcaster appealed against the decision,” informs the spokeswoman of the National Broadcasting Council, Teresa Brykczyńska.
