Kasia Kieli at the concert “Together with Ukraine”: together we can change reality

During the concert “Together with Ukraine”, President and Managing Director of Discovery EMEA Kasia Kieli said that for over three weeks “we have been watching the tragedy happening”. She said that the Sunday aid concert could have “up to 150 million” viewers and indicated that every zloty counted. – As for Discovery, we also want to come with specific help, with specific support, and therefore we are additionally donating half a million dollars to the Polish Humanitarian Action to help Ukraine – she stated.

A charity concert “Together with Ukraine” took place at the Atlas Arena in Łódź. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Polish Humanitarian Action to help Ukraine.

During the concert, President and Managing Director of Discovery EMEA, Kasia Kieli, said from the stage that “we have been witnessing for over three weeks, we are watching the tragedy happening”. – We are observing an unjustified attack on our neighbors, on our friends, on Ukraine. We believe that tomorrow will be better than today and that together we are able to change and improve it – she said.

Kieli: We donate half a million dollars to the Polish Humanitarian Organization to help Ukraine

She also thanked the Polish Humanitarian Action “for their cooperation, for being together” and for their help provided by PAH to refugees.

– We broadcast this concert in many countries. In total, up to 150 million people can watch us. But there is one most important country where this concert can be watched – she continued. – You can watch it in Ukraine on the Discovery Channel, but also on other channels, because we make this concert available to Ukrainian channels – she explained.

She expressed the hope that “this message and what is happening here today (…) will cheer them up”. She pointed out that “the point is to help directly” and that “every zloty, every SMS sent counts”.

– As for Discovery, we also want to come with specific help, with specific support, and therefore we are additionally donating half a million dollars to the Polish Humanitarian Action to help Ukraine – said Kieli.

She ended her speech with the words: – Together we are stronger and together we can change the reality.
