On Sunday, at the Atlas Arena in Łódź, a charity concert was held under the slogan “Together with Ukraine” . Artists from both Poland and Ukraine performed on stage, in front of 12,000 people and millions of viewers in front of TV sets. All income from the Sunday project is donated to the Polish Humanitarian Action, which has been running a mission in Ukraine since 2014.

– We managed to collect a total of nearly PLN 8 million, which we donated directly to the Polish Humanitarian Action. We collected this amount thanks to the sale of tickets for the concert, payments and text messages from viewers from Poland and abroad, as well as advertising spots – said Kasia Kieli, President and Managing Director of Discovery EMEA. She also thanked everyone who made this event possible.

The concert, which was an expression of solidarity with the Ukrainian nation, was full of emotions. It began with the performance of the Ukrainian national anthem by several years old Amelia Anisowicz . The girl is known for performing a moving version of a song from the movie “Frozen” in the Kiev shelter.

In addition to vocalists presenting new versions of famous songs, outstanding actors and actresses appeared on stage in moving interpretations of literary texts.
